Benjamin Rosenblum, AIA, LEED AP
Principal
Ben has more than fifteen years experience in the building and design industries and has a background in sustainable design and energy efficiency. Ben is a licensed architect in NY, MA, and TX. He studied visual arts, political science, and environmental studies at Oberlin College and then received a Master of Architecture from the Yale School of Architecture. After Yale, he was a senior designer at TEN Arquitectos in New York and Mexico City and worked on mixed-use, residential, and hospitality projects including the Hotel Americano on the west side of Manhattan and 580 Carroll Street in Brooklyn. More recently, he received a Master of Science in Architecture concentrating in Building Science and Sustainability from UC Berkeley and worked as a research associate in the Building Technology and Urban Systems Department of the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.
In addition to leading Ben Rosenblum Studio, Ben teaches architecture, sustainable design, and interior design at Pratt Institute.
Hussein Al Hamadani, LEED Green Associate
Designer
Hussein earned his Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Houston, where he developed a strong interest in sustainable design. To further his commitment to eco-friendly building practices, he obtained his LEED Green Associate (GA) certification, demonstrating his expertise in environmentally responsible building.
He divides his time equally between two essential roles. He spends half of his workday on construction sites, ensuring that all projects meet the required quality and safety standards. The other half is dedicated to producing detailed architectural drawings and high-quality renders, translating design concepts that guide the construction process. He bring a balanced blend of technical expertise and on-site experience to the company.
