Case Chocolates, a chocolate shop and speakeasy opened in Houston's Second Ward in Summer 2024. The design includes a storefront chocolate shop, connected to a speakeasy chocolate tasting room with a concealed door, and in the back of the shop, a chocolate making area. The shop specializes in liquor-filled chocolates and pairings with cocktails. The design emphasizes wood and warm materials, cacao tree images and elements, and recalls speakeasys of the past integrated with modern elements.
